SCHALI^® Care–MI Liquid Rectal Suppositories are a highly-effective photoactive product for antiviral and antimicrobial protection, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections.

PRODUCT FORM:

Prophylactic hydrogel in 3 ml disposable single-dose container.

INGREDIENTS:

Aqua, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Glycereth-18 Ethylhexanoate, Glycereth-18, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Triethanolamine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phosphoric Acid.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Soft hydrogel formulation of the suppositories dissolves slowly in the rectum, where it is absorbed by rectal mucosa. The product acts locally by inducing regeneration, strengthening vascular walls and improving microcirculation in capillaries.

Mechanism of action is developed thanks to better understanding of protective modality and structural functioning and interaction between virions and human cells. The lipid mobilizing cholesterol complexing HPBCD + TiO2 constituents of the formulation enable alteration of cholesterol status of the surface lipid rafts and prevent in this way further internalization and infection.

Synergistic effect of exclusive “SCHALI^®” plant and mineral constituents actively remove harmful endogenous toxic compounds, enable “adjusting/tuning” immune response. Besides, by blocking bonds necessary for internalization of virions and infection, active ingredients provide a strong beneficial effect by relieving symptoms of different pathological conditions, especially of microbial and viral contamination, caused by envelope-type viruses such as different strains of herpes (Herpesviridae). Active ingredients isolate cholesterol on both cell membrane surface and virus envelope, inhibiting in this way virus’ attachment to lipid rafts and therefore lipid confluence, preventing virus from internalization and infection.

The product is also intended for prevention and treatment of bacterial and fungal sexually transmitted infections, e.g. caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and different strains of Candida albicans.

Mineral bio-constituent of the hydrogel formulation includes fragments of a certain class of metalloid semiconductors with unsaturated bonds - titanium dioxide crystalline lattice - known for its high catalytic activity. Photoactive particles of QD SCHALI^® titanium dioxide trigger generation of active oxygen forms (singlet oxygen). Mechanism of action is based on the principle of energetic neutralization of free chemical bonds on the surface of toxic compounds by saturating them with complementary oxygen atoms, generated in the result of the catalytic reaction. Active oxygen forms may successfully treat most of all currently known exogenous and endogenous intoxications.

The product is intended for personal care purposes, has preventive action and may be used as complex therapy and photodynamic therapy agents in treatment of a wide range of urological infectious conditions. The product covers up and softly assuages mucosa, protects mucosa against injuries, and accelerates cells regeneration. Regular use of the product may improve local moistening and smoothing, may reduce unpleasant sensation and inflammation in rectal mucosa (itching, burning pains, irritation). The product induces synthesis of antibodies, increases complementary haemoactivity and therefore lowers risk of repeated infection.

METHOD OF USE:

For rectal use only.

Take one single-dose container out of the package with clean hands, insert into the rectum and press out its content, while lying on your side. Apply one suppository 2 times a day for one month. Extend your course of treatment up to 90 days, if necessary.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Keep the product in a dark cool place at the temperature below 25^°С.

SHELF LIFE:

Shelf life is 3 years from the date of production.
Do not use the product after expiration of the date of production, specified on the package.
